DESCRIPTION:2026-2nd Call for Proposals at PAL-XFEL\n\nWe invite scientist
 s worldwide to submit proposals for general user beamtime experiments at P
 AL-XFEL (Pohang Accelerator Laboratory – X-ray Free Electron Laser) from
  August to December 2026. PAL-XFEL has three beamlines\, two for hard X-ra
 y experiments (XSS: X-ray Scattering and Spectroscopy\, NCI: Nano Crystal
 lography and Coherent Imaging) and one for soft X-ray experiments (SSS: So
 ft X-ray Scattering and Spectroscopy). The access to PAL-XFEL is open to t
 he international scientific community\, with the requirement that foreign 
 users collaborate with Korean scientists being local contacts. Additionall
 y\, all applicants must contact PAL-XFEL staff scientists to discuss expe
 rimental details before submitting a beamtime proposal. There is no fee f
 or proposal submission\, but charges will apply when the experiment is con
 ducted\, as per government policy. Please register as a user of PAL and 
 submit an application form of the PAL-XFEL proposal via the website ([http
